Jochebed Kids Group is a nonprofit organization committed to strengthening bonds among parents, children, and elders in our community, with a special emphasis on preserving our cultural heritage and language. Our primary goal is to meet the fundamental needs of families while empowering single parents , parents of special needs to provide for their children through various opportunities, resources, and ongoing support.

Our Initiatives

In addition to our other initiatives, Jochebed Kids Group offers volunteer opportunities for community members eager to contribute, including youths interested in giving back. Volunteers assist during playground events and help deliver food to elderly individuals in need, ensuring they receive essential support and companionship.

Furthermore, we actively engage children in volunteering, encouraging them to participate in community service activities. This involvement not only instills a sense of responsibility and empathy but also fosters a culture of giving back from a young age.

Our Goal

What We Aim To

Looking ahead, we are enthusiastic about introducing recreational adventures and playtime activities designed to engage entire families. We aim to support single parents and caregivers of special needs children by offering resources, donations, training opportunities, and the chance to be part of our vibrant community group, all while accommodating their busy schedules with the assistance of dedicated volunteers.

In the long term, we aspire to establish daycares, playgrounds, and thrift stores that will further aid community members in need, fostering a sustainable support system for families.
Helping hand

Support for Cancer Patients

Our support for the cancer patient, Jochebed Kids Group also extended assistance to another single mother caring for a child with special needs. We ensured they received fresh food twice a week and arranged transportation to appointments, offering ongoing assistance as needed. Moreover, we provided art supplies to enrich the child’s development and facilitated family visits from their hometown.

Our organization also coordinated visits from social volunteers to provide companionship and support at home, and we secured free grocery services to alleviate their financial burden. Furthermore, we organized outings and recreational opportunities tailored to the child’s interests, ensuring they had enriching experiences outside their daily routine.

Through these efforts, Jochebed Kids Group continues to uphold its commitment to supporting families facing challenges, ensuring they receive practical assistance, emotional support, and opportunities for enjoyment and enrichment.
