Jochebed Kids Group further collaborated with a local Ethiopian restaurant to deliver fresh food to elderly individuals and those who are sick, directly to their homes. The restaurant generously volunteered to provide meals free of charge for this initiative. Additionally, we facilitated the delivery of household items to those in need, ensuring they had essential supplies delivered right to their doorstep.

These partnerships and efforts demonstrate our commitment to supporting vulnerable members of our community by providing nutritious meals and necessary household items, enhancing their well-being and quality of life. It sounds like Jochebed Kids Group made a significant impact in the life of a cancer patient by supporting her through various means. We provided patio furniture adorned with flowers to create a comforting environment in her patio area. Additionally, we assisted with grocery shopping and covered her son’s school payment of $250. We also supplied nightgowns for her hospital stay and ensured she had transportation to and from appointments.

Furthermore, our organization offered resources for recreation, supported her son’s school commute, and facilitated volunteer opportunities to assist with household needs. Social volunteers visited her in the hospital, cooked meals, and helped clean and organize her home. We also arranged for occasional lunches out, maintained communication via phone, and connected her son with a coach.
